Gaijin Izakaya by Cake
23.04.2018

It is an informal Japanese restaurant based on the Izakaya concept. An Izakaya bar is a popular tavern-like establishment where people go for casual after-work drinking and eating. Generally speaking and contrary to mainstream belief, Izakaya bars do not offer alcoholic drinks, although they do allow them in and even some establishments offer a bottle keep service.

Gaijin’s décor is Asian-inspired, modern and urban; as an interesting fact it boasts a sushi bar built on washing machines. It is advisable for those looking forward more to tasting Japanese fare than western cuisine to try the wheat noodles in broth (Ramen), Okonomiyaki (a Japanese savory pancake) served with fish, and rice dishes.
