Fire Kitchen and Bar

Little Haiti - Restaurant - International
Fire Kitchen and Bar

The fresh taste of local ingredients and subtle smokey flavors were found in each plate we ordered at this intimate, cozily-decorated venue. They cook all plates on their firewood grill, focusing on seafood and vegetables. Fire combines their cuisine with the right selections of wine and beer.

We tasted the green salad, raw scallops, shishito peppers, grilled garlic joints, rice with pork and shrimp, and the catch of the day. The most distinctive were the garlic joints and the catch of the day. Their exquisite dessert menu includes the spectacular Franceschi chocolate mousse.

The interior is welcoming, but not recommended for large groups. The outdoor seating area is great for large meals and a loud conversation, and they occasionally have live music. Great food, attentive service, and please note that the dinner portions are not large.
