What is a Capital One Café? New Locations Throughout South Florida
During one of my journeys through the city of Coral Gables, specifically on Miracle Mile, I came across Capital One Café. Since I did not comprehend the function of this ample, illuminated space, I decided to enter. This place is a combination of a coffee shop (with baristas and tasty snacks) and a bank, which offers the bank services we are all familiar with: ATMs, help with your account needs from Café Ambassadors, they also have meeting rooms that can be utilized for free by non-profit organizations.
Personally, I believe the most important thing about this innovative concept is the opportunity offered to the public of receiving personalized and absolutely free (up to three) sessions with a “Money Coach”, without even having to be a client.
My session with the Money Coach was sensational, I was dedicated an hour, and had the opportunity to talk about my personal and financial goals, without being pressured by the Coach on any bank products. For those who have not had a similar experience, the Coach listened intently to my current professional situation and the financial impact generated by my goals/challenges, we later identified the obstacles I face now, and finally wrote down the concrete actions that would allow me to reach my objectives.
I’m not a banker, but I believe this is the future of banking, the world spins faster than ever and the organizations should adapt to the needs of their clients; Capital One Café is a great example. I invite all of you to visit Capital One Café so you can discover this new concept, for more information visit www.capitalone.com/local
