This tennis superstar has conquered the title in Miami on six occasions, an honor that has only been shared with American icon André Agassi.

The 2019 edition also features Argentinean Juan Martin del Potro and Swiss Roger Federer, who this year claimed his 100th tournament in Dubai. The women's category welcomes world champion Naomi Osaka, from Japan, 2018 winner Sloane Stephens from the US and Serena Williams, who has already emerged victorious with 8 titles in the city of Miami. She is joined by her sister Venus Williams, Spanish players Garbiñe Muguruza and Carla Suárez, Czech Petra Kvitova, and Mónica Puig from Puerto Rico.

The qualifying rounds that will take place between March 18 and 19, will result in 12 additional slots in each individual players draw.
