According to TripBarometer, a study made by TripAdvisor, 1 out of 5 travelers worldwide would like to try one for the first time this year. For Generation X, which includes adults between 35 and 55 years, and for Baby Boomers, with more than 55 years, this type of journeys are listed as number one traveling options among those who want to experience something new.

Miami is the largest cruise port in the world with 15 brands of shipping companies and 34 ships. In 2015 it received 4.9 million passengers, which represents an increasing sector that has more offers with each passing day.

Bahamas, the Caribbean and Mexico are the most frequent destinations, and itineraries start from 3 days and prices vary from 220 dollars onwards, depending on the season. However, you must add taxes, alcoholic beverages, shopping and similar expenses such as enjoying a massage in the ship’s spa, which are not included. The sooner you book your trip, the cheaper it will be.
