Continuing with Monthly Temptations programming, which segments and groups the main activities that give life to Miami, the city celebrates in June "The Month of Cinema".

A month full of fun and culture for all those who love the seventh art, because the Miami Film Month is an activity that invites us to enjoy the best of local and international cinema in the best cinematographic spaces of our vibrant and eclectic city.

For the sixth consecutive year the Miami Film Month has countless options, contests, independent film screening, tour packages and guided tours, activities that you can enjoy to pay tribute to this fascinating world.

Mecca of inspiration

Miami, being a capital open to so many cultures, during the last decades has been the protagonist of a very particular lifestyle. Its attributes seduce tourists so much that it is one of the 20 most visited cities in the world, this is due in part to the fact that it has been a mecca of cinema, because great classics of this industry are based on its diversity, showing its architecture, luxury and prominent lifestyle, a value that inspires and delights many.

Miami shines with its own light, so that television networks and film producers, not only from the United States but worldwide, have their eyes on our city, so this month of June is a good opportunity to enjoy in full the best of local cinema, as well as the promotion of our talents and cinematographic producers.

In addition, Miami throughout the year has a warm and kind climate, a beautiful urbanism and a cultural heritage that make it shine always, in and out of cameras.

The ticket price is $8, which makes it very attractive to attend to the art theaters participating this year in the Miami Film Month: Wynwood Cinema, Cinema by Bill Cosford, Miami Beach Cinematheque, Miami Shores Theater in Miami Theater Center, Coral Gables Art Theater, MDC’s Tower Theater, O Cinema Miami Beach.

Black American Film Festival

This year from June 14th to June 18th in Miami Beach, the 21st edition of the Black Film Festival of America will take place, an extraordinary initiative that promotes diversity in the film and television industries and today is widely recognized as an important channel to bring new talents of color to the forefront, in front of and behind the cameras.
